About Department
Established in 1992 to produce graduates with knowledge and skills in process control systems and automated production systems to meet the needs of the industrial sector. Teaching in this field integrates knowledge from various engineering fields to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of various systems used in the manufacturing industry, enabling them to design and develop automated control systems according to the needs of that industry. Typically, industrial computer systems are used as controllers, such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, and automatic robot control systems. In addition, the program also supports Industry 4.0 technology, which are used in the petrochemical industry, food industry, automotive parts manufacturing industry, and power plants. The Control System and Instrumentation Engineering program accepts students from both regular programs, transfer programs, and cooperative education.
